For many years, our Council has provided Book Scholarships to our local high schools and St. Agnes School for those institutions to identify and provide to a graduating student of their choice. Seven years ago, we launched a Council Scholarship Program focused on a qualifying member of our Council “family.” Since then, through your generosity and the success of various targeted fundraising efforts, we have been able to award scholarships to at least two recipients each year. Four winners were awarded a total of $6,000 this year (June 2023)! Based on the continued financial health of our Council and the success of this Scholarship Program, the Council approved continuing with the program for our 2023-24 fraternal year. Since 2016, we have offered members the opportunity to make an optional donation to the Scholarship Fund while paying their membership dues. Thank you to the MANY members who make this additional contribution!
