Congratulations our 2024 COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS at KofC #1333!

On Thursday, July 18, The Knights of Columbus, Council #1333 in West Chester had the privilege and honor to award two scholarships as part of our 8th Annual Council Scholarship Program for the 2023-2024 Fraternal Year. Those recipients were:

• Annie Corcoran – She graduated from Sacred Heart High School, where she had a service focus on assisting with hunger and clothing insecurities, as well as being a Retreat Leader with the Kairos Group (student-led journey focusing on God). She will be attending the University of Miami in the Fall, where she will be studying Biology.
• Darin Howell – He is a FOCUS Missionary at the Newman Center who is finishing up his graduate studies (Master of the Arts in Theology) this year from The Augustine Institute in Greenwood Village, CO, and is a member of Council #1333.

Both of our worthy recipients plan on continuing their service work with various groups on campus. Congratulations and good luck in your future endeavors, Annie and Darin! Well done!

Thank you as well to our dedicated Scholarship Committee who does a great job in reviewing the essays and identifying potential candidates every year; Nick Palczuk, Jim Hennessy, Art Treston, Jim Cushwa, and, Joe Dugan, Jerry DiBello, and Gary Novinskie. We are very proud to be able to offer this opportunity to our members and their families on an annual basis.
