Congratulations to our 2022 COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS!

The McGrory Quadruplets score!

On Friday, June 24th, The Knights of Columbus, Council #1333 in West Chester had the privilege and honor to award four scholarships worth $5,000 as part of ourĀ 6th Annual Council Scholarship Winners for the 2021-2022 Fraternal Year. Those recipients were:

  • Ella McGrory – who won the Student Council Spirit Award at BSHS and will be going to University of Tennessee in the Fall, where she is on the Exploratory Track and and plans to be active in campus ministry. She also remains an active participant of Mission Youth Philly.
  • Brendan McGrory – who won the Boy’s Lacrosse Coaches Award at BSHS, will be attending Coastal Carolina University where he will major in Criminal Justice, and join the lacrosse and frisbee golf teams.
  • Sean McGrory – who will be attending Liberty University where he will major in Political Science/Civics, and will be active in the Catholic arm of the university and plans to play club lacrosse.
  • Colin McGrory – who was All-Ches-Mont in football and lacrosse, is headed to Lycoming University and is currently considering his options, but will play football and lacrosse, while also participating in the Outdoor Adventure Club.

All of our worthy recipients are graduates of Bishop Shanahan High School and plan on continuing their service work with various groups on campus. Congratulations and good luck in your future endeavors, McGrory Clan! Well done!
