2024 Monsignor Schuyler Council 1333 Scholarship Announcement

In 2017, our council initiated a scholarship program to recognize and assist students directly associated with our council who are planning for their post-high school education (2- or 4-year college, technical school, seminary, etc.). Over the past 8 years, we have been fortunate to receive applications from many deserving candidates and have awarded 20 scholarships! This scholarship program is another component of our council’s long-standing policy of supporting our parish school at St. Agnes as well as
the local public high schools and Bishop Shanahan. This local council support continues to align well with similar Knights of Columbus programs at the state and national level.

Our intent is to provide a scholarship to a student planning for post-high school continuing education. The applicant must be directly associated with our council as either an active member in good standing or the child/grandchild of an active member in good standing. This scholarship is available to a student who is either beginning or returning to a post-high school program (2- or 4-year college, technical school, seminary, etc.) in the fall of 2025. Prior winners are not eligible for this year’s scholarship. Previous applicants who were not chosen are encouraged to submit another application.

This 2025 scholarship is a one-time scholarship which will be awarded in the amount of up to $4,000. Applications must be post-marked or e-mailed no later than May 31st. As directed in the application, please email Nick Palczuk if you are mailing your application. Our winner will be notified and announced no later than July 15th.
